Expediting & Logistics Coordinator (F/M) – Axens Project Operations Business Division – Projects Department is looking for an Expediting & Logistics Coordinator at Axens in Rueil-Malmaison. Axens is an IFP Group company. The Expediting & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in cutting‑edge projects focused on energy transition, low‑carbon solutions, and renewable technologies. Operating within the Project Services Department of the Project Operations Business Division, this role reports directly to the Supply & Subcontracting Group Manager. Responsibilities Act as key interface between the project team and the equipment supplier, ensuring seamless project execution by overseeing material procurement, monitoring equipment manufacturing, and coordinating timely deliveries. Ensure the prompt and accurate release of purchase orders. Manage the expediting process to keep procurement on track. Coordinate and optimize deliveries to the manufacturing yard, client site, or other suppliers. Lead supplier kick‑off meetings, track manufacturing progress, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and proactively address delays through detailed reporting and corrective action plans. Organise and supervise equipment deliveries to various destinations, maintain real‑time tracking, and negotiate transport orders within defined responsibilities. Identify critical suppliers, conduct expediting visits, manage claims and back charges, and ensure transparent communication with project stakeholders through regular updates and escalation when needed. Manage the full procurement cycle in SAP software—including processing purchase requests and ensuring accurate and timely release of purchase orders while resolving any supplier deviations. Qualifications Training as a Master’s graduate (BAC+5) specialized in purchasing and/or logistics. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial projects—particularly in refining, petrochemicals, energy transition, or renewable energy sectors. Background in team leadership and subcontractor coordination, and demonstration of strong technical understanding of equipment manufacturing processes and the associated documentation requirements. Familiarity with Incoterms, international logistics practices, and the commercial and legal documentation involved in major export operations. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural and international teams. Comfortable navigating complex technical environments and coordinating diverse stakeholders. Adaptable and culturally aware, thriving in international and cross‑functional settings.
