Air Liquide Shared Services (ALSP) is one of the Air Liquide Group's 4 main Business Service Centers. Since its creation in 2015, ALSP has been dedicated to providing efficient accounting, HR administration and payroll services to the Group's French subsidiaries. Within ALSP, the organization focuses on internal customers (CFO, managementcontrol, Head of HR & HRBP). Our aim: to deliver efficient, high‑quality service to our customers Role Overview The General Ledger Accountant and his team are integrated into the Finance BSC. Under the supervision of the General Ledger Manager, they work in close collaboration with managers of the client entities assigned to them. They record general ledger operations and produce reporting statements within the deadlines imposed by the Group. Responsibilities Management of closing and financial statement production Perform operational roles through entry and processing of various general or analytical accounting operations and consolidations (IFRS re‑entries). When applicable, monitor and account for financial assets. Determine with management control the amount of subscription entries and record them. Control the consistency of accounting information to ensure reliability and justification of accounts. Determine fiscal result, calculate and record corporate tax. Produce monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual reporting statements within Group or tax authority deadlines. Prepare annual and permanent audit dossiers that provide the justified collection of all useful information for each file. Client entity point of contact within the BSC, under the manager’s responsibility Receive requests from the entity (CFO, management control, operational directions, etc.) and respond, consulting the Manager, different units and experts when necessary. May participate in the development of rolling forecasts and targets (taxes, duties, ...). Serve as contact point in the follow‑up of auditors during interim missions and annual account reviews. Ensure compliance with accounting rules and internal control standards Maintain high vigilance regarding the application of internal control rules and ethical procedures. Responsible for materialising internal control over the general ledger part of their files. Contribute to the development of the BSC by writing procedures and improving processes. Qualifications Broad knowledge of general ledger accounting issues. Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, ...). Knowledge of Magnitude. Proficiency in Excel. Versatility and adaptability. Client orientation. Operational English.
