It is our promise that we will deliver this experience every day by making sure that we are unified in our values of Attitude, Creativity, Safety, and Professionalism.Job DescriptionThe Director of Human Resources will lead and execute the HR strategy for the organization’s Paris operations, ensuring full compliance with French labor laws and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a hands‑on HR leader with strong expertise in managing a workforce that includes a significant part‑time employee population, as well as deep knowledge of French employment regulations, policies, and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary HR leader for the Paris entity, overseeing all HR operations and compliance activities.Ensure full compliance with French labor laws, collective bargaining agreements (as applicable), and local regulatory requirements, including working time, part‑time contracts, employee representation, and mandatory filings.Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with French legal requirements and company standards.Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, performance management, grievances, and terminations, in compliance with French labor law.Oversee workforce planning and administration for both full‑time and part‑time employees, ensuring appropriate contract structures, scheduling compliance, and accurate record‑keeping.Partner with payroll, legal counsel, and external advisors to ensure accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and regulatory reporting.Support managers with guidance on French labor law, HR policies, and best practices for managing part‑time employees.Lead or support employee representation obligations (e.g., CSE interactions), as applicable.Drive HR initiatives related to engagement, performance, compliance training, and organizational development.Qualifications & Experience6‑7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least some experience in an HR leadership.Strong, practical knowledge of French labor laws and regulations, particularly as they relate to part‑time employment, working time, contracts, and employee relations.Demonstrated experience managing HR processes for a workforce that includes a substantial part‑time employee population.Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures in a French legal context.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.Preferred Skills.Experience in a growing or dynamic organization.Familiarity with employee representative bodies (CSE) and related obligations.Bilingual French/English proficiency.SUMMIT Entertainment Ventures is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
