OverviewRENAPS is currently seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join the Centre of Excellence team. The role is in Montréal, QC, hybrid, Canada. They contribute to the proper functioning, performance, and security of systems by performing regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance report analysis. This role is intended for a curious, rigorous, and service-oriented individual who wishes to grow in a stimulating and collaborative technical environment.ResponsibilitiesProactively monitor Oracle environments using tools such as Zabbix (open source, installable on VM) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to detect and prevent incidents.Participate in the design, configuration, and maintenance of client databases.Perform in-depth troubleshooting in case of incidents and contribute to resolving performance issues.Collaborate in the analysis and interpretation of Oracle diagnostic reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH, STATSPACK).Contribute to database performance optimization and tuning.Meet operational deadlines and priorities, including urgent situations management.Work closely with the technical team and clients to ensure high-quality service and adherence to best practices.Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes and technical documentation.Qualifications & SkillsAcademic knowledge in Oracle database design and administration.Good understanding of Oracle monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting (AWR, ADDM, ASH, STATSPACK).Experience or knowledge of Zabbix and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent adaptability to change and diverse client environments.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic context.Client-oriented with a strong service mindset.Team spirit and collaboration with colleagues and technical partners.Language RequirementsFrench: maîtrise obligatoire (oral et écrit)English: maîtrise obligatoire (oral et écrit)Candidate ProfileCollege or university degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.Relevant experience (internships or first job) in a role related to Oracle database administration.Strong interest in developing skills in Oracle environments and data management.Employment detailsLocation: Montréal (QC), HybridType: PermanentIndustry: Information Technology*****************************************CANADARENAPS is currently seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join the Centre of Excellence team.Who We Are / Qui nous sommes ?RENAPS is a provider of IT solutions and consulting services.
