Your role as a Senior Security Engineer centers around proactively setting up new tools and processes to ensure the security of our codebase, and creatively solving problems, ensuring a balance between speed, pragmatism and excellence together with the rest of the Tech team.
Key Responsibilities- Join Swile's Security Team

- Conducting architecture design reviews to enhance our security posture.
- Collaborating with platform engineers and developers to promote secure design methodologies.
- Staying updated on cutting-edge Cloud architectures and ensuring their secure deployment and maintenance.
- Providing technical leadership and consultation for secure technology deployment.
- Driving the adoption of security architecture initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and implement data protection strategies for cloud environments, including encryption, tokenization, and key management.
- Lead incident response activities related to cloud security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
- Evaluate cybersecurity tools to enhance technical control sets.
- Communicate technical security issues effectively to management and technical stakeholders.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and guide remediation efforts.
- Improve and automate detection and response.
- Validating reference architectures for security best practices.
- Proven hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with global multi-cloud architectures security.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working experience with programming languages like Python or Go.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or 6+ years of previous technical experience, specifically security architecture experience.
