Payroll Partner – HR Services, France (Remote) As the Payroll Partner, you will be a key member of the wider HR team, committed to building a workplace that fuels growth for the business and each associate. You will transform our HR organization to deliver compelling experiences every day for associates, leaders, and the HR team through strategic partnership to the business, supported by niche expertise in high‑value areas and a service organization that meets associate needs. Responsibilities Manage assigned caseload for Tier 1 payroll requests, responding to payroll inquiries and providing transactional execution for payroll matters, ensuring SLAs and service quality standards are exceeded. Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA associate groups, focusing on France, while also supporting other countries as needed. Manage the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input payroll‑related data, ensuring timely payment of salaries in compliance with statutory and collective agreements, in cooperation with payroll providers for applicable countries. Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate calculations and timely submission of social security contributions, taxes, and other statutory requirements. Interact with HR and finance during monthly payroll activities by updating related HRIS, sharing hires, leavers, transfers, promotions, and organizational changes in a timely and accurate manner. Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance and document procedures, and ensure internal controls are in place. Correspond with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities. Process supplementary insurance and pension plans. Prepare payroll reports, certificates, and forms, reconciling and clarifying accounts with the financial accounting department, and contribute to annual financial statements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of proven payroll experience. Deep knowledge of local labor, tax, and social security regulations in France; additional country knowledge is welcomed. Experience working within multicultural, international teams, collaborating with Finance and HR business partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, with strong communication and planning skills. Problem‑solving, results‑oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities. Proficient in French and English; additional European languages are welcomed. Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
