We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Architect with strong Data Centre Management experience to lead the design, integration, and optimization of mission-critical systems. What You’ll Do:Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance IT infrastructure solutions across hybrid environmentsLead the planning and implementation of enterprise data centre systems, including compute, storage, networking, and disaster recoveryOversee capacity planning (power, cooling, rack space) and ensure efficient infrastructure utilizationCollaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors (Cisco, Dell, HP, NetApp, etc.), and service providers to deploy robust infrastructureEstablish infrastructure standards and drive automation, virtualization, and modernization initiativesEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business goalsContribute to business continuity and disaster recovery design, testing, and readinessProvide technical leadership across infrastructure-related projects and transformations What You Bring:Proven experience in IT infrastructure architecture and data centre designDeep understanding of virtualization, IaaS, and hybrid cloud infrastructureHands-on experience with enterprise hardware and systems from OEMs like Cisco, Dell, HP, NetAppExpertise in capacity planning, rack layout, cabling, and patchingFamiliarity with security, compliance, and service operations best practicesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a senior architecture or data centre roleWork on transformative infrastructure projects that impact global operationsBe part of a collaborative and forward-thinking IT teamAccess continuous professional development opportunitiesEnjoy a flexible and inclusive work environmentSeniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeContractJob functionJob functionInformation TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Engineering International Belgium by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Information Technology System Architect” roles.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
