What you’ll build and who you’ll work with You will join the “Claims Management” team, responsible for refunding €350 M+ of healthcare expenses every year to 1 M+ members across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. Our mission is to refund each member as fast and accurately as possible while being cost‑effective for Alan. The product division is fully internalised, making it highly technical, deep, and exciting. Product crews Document processing: 2 M documents received every year. We automatically parse a good portion with LLMs and aim to improve further. Claims experience: Building the most memorable and straightforward experience for members to understand guarantees and claim refunds across four countries on mobile and desktop. Payments: Building a payment infrastructure and source ingestion system so members get refunded quickly and don’t need to advance money. Fraud fighting: 4 M € saved in 2024 through a stack combining machine‑learning scoring, anomaly detection, and manual investigations. Is it you we’re looking for? We are seeking engineers with 3 + years of experience who get excited about building complex systems that must run perfectly 24/7 every day, even as we grow rapidly. Passionate about creating delightful products with exceptional user experiences. Good experience building and shipping web applications. Genuinely interested in the business side – understanding conversion funnels, marketing metrics, and growth drivers. Clear career progression – increasing responsibility, scope, and impact over time. Open to working with TypeScript and Python in a cross‑platform environment, familiar with modern web technologies, and proficient in object‑oriented programming (Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or C#).
