IT Senior Architect

Job Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled IT Senior Architect to join our team and play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. In this position, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and security specialists, contributing directly to infrastructure modernization projects, cloud migrations, and technology optimizations. What You’ll Do Infrastructure Design & Architecture: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid). Develop and document architectural standards, best practices, and blueprints for infrastructure components. Ensure solutions align with business goals, compliance requirements, and technology strategies. Project Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather infrastructure requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Lead infrastructure modernization projects, including cloud migrations, data center transformations, and automation initiatives. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects from conception to deployment. Technology Evaluation & Optimization: Analyze existing infrastructure and recommend improvements for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability. Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide recommendations for integration where beneficial. Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments. Security & Compliance: Design infrastructure that adheres to security best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with the security team to mitigate risks and address vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, ITAR, …). Operational Support: Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues. Provide guidance to IT teams on troubleshooting and performance optimization. Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development, network, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and efficient system integration. Present architectural solutions and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You’ll Need Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in networking concepts (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs). Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet). Familiarity with storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies. Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented. Where You’ll Work In our HQ, Issy-les-Moulineaux, France.
