Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Head of Technical AccountingCountry/Region: FRConnect with Eutelsat GroupBe part of a new era in communications, transforming connectivity with Eutelsat Group – the world’s first GEO-LEO integrated global satellite operator.As a global leader in satellite communications, we provide infinite connectivity, broadcasting television channels and packages, transmitting news reports, and providing wholesale broadband Internet access services.What You’ll Do:Technical accounting expert within the GroupServe as the subject matter expert within the Group for all accounting judgements and complexities, with a particular focus on:Revenue accounting applying IFRS 15 to complex customer contractsAccounting for capital projects applying IAS 16/38Accounting for the Group’s M&A activity, including acquisition accounting and accounting for divestments.Accounting advisory with commercial, operational and other teams in advance of contracts being agreed to advise on accounting implications of proposed agreements.Preparing accounting analysis to serve as the Group’s accounting papers to justify and support the Group’s accounting conclusions.Ownership of accounting policies of the Eutelsat GroupMaintain and update the Group Consolidation ManualLead on the evaluation and assessment of the Group’s accounting policies in response to changes in accounting standards and other developments.Managing and working effectively with external advisors and auditorsProactively and effectively managing external auditors (including where relevant across the Group’s global jurisdictions).Where relevant, managing and working productively with the Group’s external advisors.Contribute to the production of the Group’s external reporting, including annual and interim financial statementsProvide technical guidance on reporting requirements, including in relation to information required for disclosure in the financial statements.What it Takes:8+ years of experience in accounting in an international environmentMaster degree in finance / accounting / economicsAbility to work under pressureStrong communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of managementWhere You’ll Be: In our HQ, Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. #J-18808-Ljbffr
