Our client is a key player in the renewable energy sector, actively developing sustainable solutions for bio-methane and biogas production. As part of a strategic program to standardize engineering and production processes across multiple plants, the company is expanding its technical teams and is currently seeking a Process Engineer to support this initiative.Role OverviewThe Process Engineer will be involved in the design, optimization, and standardization of biogas production processes. The role covers activities from conceptual studies to detailed engineering, with strong interaction with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, piping, instrumentation, automation, safety).This position is ideal for engineers with a Chemical Engineering background and experience in bio-based industries such as biofuels, biodiesel, or biofeed, who are motivated to contribute to the energy transition.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the process design and standardization of bio-methane and biogas production units.Develop and review process deliverables:Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)Mass and energy balancesPiping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)Plot Plans and 3D ModelsOptimize process performance, yields, and energy efficiency.Contribute to technology selection and process improvements.Perform process simulations and feasibility studies.Support HAZOP and risk assessment studies.Work closely with engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, automation, civil, and others).Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up phases.Participate in CAPEX and OPEX evaluations for process scope.Support continuous improvement and operational troubleshooting.Required ProfileMaster’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering.Experience in one or more of the following sectors:Biofeed / bioprocessingO&GStrong understanding of:Separation processesHeat & mass transferExperience in water treatment processes (wastewater, effluent treatment, biological treatment) is a strong plus.Familiarity with process simulation tools (Aspen, HYSYS, ProSim, or equivalent).Knowledge of industrial standards and process safety practices.Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.LanguagesFrench is a appreciatedAdditional European languages are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
