Control Coordinator – Banking Operations Juridical Join us as Control Coordinator – Banking Operations Juridical to strengthen our first line of defense within Banking Operations. As we scale, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. You will oversee key administrative processes regarding client accounts—specifically managing seizures, collective procedures, and account closures—to ensure every action is secure, compliant, and efficient. Partnering closely with the Head of Banking Operations Juridical, you will safeguard our administrative operations on client accounts (seizures, insolvency procedures, redress procedures, account closures, deregistrations). You will provide the control frameworks and insights needed to maintain our status as a compliant banking intermediary while enabling us to scale smoothly. What you can expect High‑impact scope: You'll oversee controls for the full spectrum of Banking Operations Juridical, touching every process linked to every Qonto market. Autonomy and ownership: You'll independently manage your control calendar, prioritize investigations, and drive improvements with direct access to leadership. Innovation mindset: We encourage you to identify automation opportunities and leverage technology to make controls smarter and more efficient. Collaborative environment: You'll work closely with operational teams, second line of control, and cross‑functional stakeholders in a fast‑paced fintech environment. Tools we use: Metabase / Google Sheets for analysis, internal control management systems, back office tool, and automation platforms. About your future manager You will report to the Head of Banking Operations Juridical, who leads the team responsible for ensuring smooth and secure operations across all Qonto markets. Your manager brings extensive experience in Operations and Banking, having led key Qonto company projects before joining the Banking Operations Juridical team. He is committed to building a robust, scalable control environment while developing team members’ expertise. About You Analytical mindset: You excel at working with numbers and identifying patterns. Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or SQL is strongly appreciated to help you conduct thorough investigations and get to the root cause of issues. Autonomy: You can independently manage your workload, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of your control perimeter without constant supervision. Control experience: You have experience in internal control, audit, or compliance within banking, payments, or financial services environments. Process improvement: You're not just a checker—you're a builder who can identify automation opportunities and design new controls that add real value. Attention to detail: You have a sharp eye for inconsistencies and the tenacity to follow the thread until issues are fully understood and documented.
