Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front End Application Engineer to join our dedicated Front End Architecture team. You will shape the future of our front‑end development, help scale systems for a team of 100–150 engineers, and mentor the next generation of front‑end talent. Key Responsibilities Lead the transition of our front‑end architecture to a lean, scalable model that supports a growing engineering team. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal user experience. Define and enforce front‑end architectural standards, best practices, and design patterns across the organization. Address complex technical debt to improve system maintainability and performance. Mentor and coach engineers to develop advanced front‑end skills, fostering continuous learning. Drive the development of core front‑end tools and components that enhance application performance, modularity, and maintainability. Work with product managers to translate user needs into effective front‑end solutions. Lead discussions on front‑end technical approaches and decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements. Establish strong front‑end conventions within an event‑driven architecture, promoting best practices for event handling and communication. Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually evolve our front‑end application. This Role Is For You If You Have 5+ years of experience as a Senior Front End Application Engineer or similar role in complex web applications. Strong expertise in front‑end technologies, including TypeScript and React. Experience with bundling tools such as Vite, Rollup, and Webpack. Experience building, distributing, and maintaining JavaScript libraries (npm modules). Demonstrated ability to make trade‑offs for incremental progress while driving transformation initiatives. Proficiency in working within a design system context. Leadership and mentoring experience that fosters skill growth and collaboration. Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to mitigating complex technical debt. Experience in SaaS or enterprise‑level application development (plus). Experience with TanStack Router, TanStack Query, Nx, and monorepo structures (plus). Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
