Operations Coordinator

OverviewJoin to apply for the Operations Coordinator role at Alan.The Operations Coordinator works on a subset of services we deliver (e.g., claim reimbursement, fraud, clinic) and is based in France, Belgium or Spain. You will join a team of 50+ Ops across countries, collaborating with Engineering, Product, Care and other teams to deliver at scale.ResponsibilitiesRun our Insurance or Health services processes (Ops Runners) and ensure day-to-day follow-up and monitoring of operations.Flag risks and opportunities and support prioritisation to improve processes and services.Operate our processes (invoicing, claims treatment, provider network management, and internal team support) and maintain up-to-date documentation.Contribute to monitoring schemes tracking volumes, efficiency, and SLAs; identify risks and areas for improvement with internal teams or service providers.Supervise partnerships (e.g., teleconsultation, claim operators), participate in negotiations, and maintain daily communication for business continuity.Perform controls on daily operations to ensure correct decisions and identify training needs.Escalate feedback and assist with initiatives to enhance delight and efficiency.Implement continuous improvements to processes (approximately 20–30% of time), such as automating steps, improving external communications, or auditing processes.Operate within run pools (3–7 runners per pool) and contribute to various scopes (e.g., Alan therapy, claims, fraud, setup) as needed.What You’ll Do NextIn addition to running and monitoring operations, you will implement improvements, collaborate with product teams, and help ensure smooth service delivery.Experience & SkillsBackground in operations with experience in processes and services for growing companies or industrial/logistics sectors; support functional experience (Customer Support, People Operations) and customer-facing roles (e.g., account manager or Customer Success communications).Passionate about delivering and optimizing top-notch operations; comfortable with hands-on process work and making processes clear and delightful.Strong problem-solving mindset focused on member and customer satisfaction; highly organized with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French (C1+), with empathy; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Adaptable and able to navigate variable situations; willingness to explore different scopes over time.Nice-to-have: experience in insurance or healthcare; some analytics skills to interpret data.Perks & BenefitsFair rewards with equity for permanent contracts.Flexible office options and remote work with equipment sponsorship.High-quality tools: MacBook Pro, peripherals, and headphones.Flexible vacation policy and working hours.Comprehensive health insurance for you and dependents (country-dependent).Transport benefits and learning/training opportunities.Coaching from day one to support development and performance.Parental leave for new parents (permanent contracts).NotesWe hire people, not roles.
