Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable code solutions to ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards. Code Maintenance and Documentation Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code aligned with internal standards and best practices for maintainability and team collaboration. Automation and CI/CD Implementation Leverage automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline data delivery and reduce manual intervention. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with BI analysts, data scientists, ML engineers, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions. Transform business requirements into scalable data solutions that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and decision support systems. System Performance Monitoring Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect issues, ensure uptime, and maintain optimal performance of data platforms. Follow modern engineering practices, including version control, code reviews, and testing frameworks, to ensure robustness and sustainability of data systems. Requirements Proven experience developing production-grade data processing and analytics solutions using Python. Advanced SQL Proficiency Strong ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Hands‑on experience working with modern cloud‑based data platforms such as Databricks and/or Snowflake. Minimum 2–3 years of experience with Azure data components, including Data Factory, Blob Storage, SharePoint, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, and Synapse. Data Workflow Orchestration Skills Practical experience designing and managing automated data workflows, particularly using Azure Data Factory. CI/CD and Version Control Proficiency Good command of version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/deployment pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub. Data Governance Understanding Familiarity with key data governance principles, including metadata management, data cataloguing, and lineage tracking. Security and Compliance Awareness Knowledge of data privacy, access control, and compliance standards relevant to enterprise data environments. Master Data and Metadata Concepts Understanding of master data structures and metadata frameworks to support data quality and consistency across systems. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English at a B2–C1 proficiency level, both in writing and speech. Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose issues and design efficient technical solutions. Collaborative Engineering Approach Proven ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams involving BI, data science, and IT disciplines to deliver integrated data solutions.
