About the Job The Applied AI Engineer will manage customer relations with multiple stakeholders (CEO/CTO, data scientists, software engineers) and serve as a key resource in externalising our research for production settings. What you will do Deploy production use cases with significant business impact across various industries. Work on state‑of‑the‑art GenAI applications from consumer products to industrial use cases, driving crucial technological transformation. Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers and product engineers on complex customer projects involving fine‑tuning, LLM applications, and contributing to our open‑source codebases for inference and fine‑tuning. Participate in pre‑sales calls to understand potential clients’ needs, challenges, and aspirations, providing technical guidance on our products. Collaborate with product and science teams to continuously improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback. About You Fluent in English. Hold a PhD, master’s in AI/data science or be self‑made. Have 7‑10+ years as a technical individual contributor (data scientist or software engineer) on AI‑based products. Experience fine‑tuning LLMs, advanced RAG or agentic use cases. Deep understanding of machine learning and LLM algorithms. Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure and AI product deployment. Deployed or built large‑scale user‑facing products. Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ideally you have Contributed to open‑source LLM projects. Experience as a forward‑deployed engineer, staff machine learning engineer or staff data scientist.
