With a focus on international HR / employment matters, you will contribute to shaping a positive and legally compliant work environment for our employees globally.What the Role OffersChallenging Responsibilities: Take charge of managing employment litigation, pre-litigation disputes, and advising on international HR matters.Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with OpenText's local HR teams, external legal counsel, and multiple works councils / employee representative bodies across various European countries.Global Impact: Support corporate initiatives, such as cross-border mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and divestments, requiring international employment law expertise.Professional Growth: Thrive in a fluid environment, undertake diverse projects, and contribute to a dynamic legal team.What You Need to SucceedFlexibility and Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, eager to explore new areas, and capable of undertaking projects in diverse fields.Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities without losing sight of the bigger picture.Client Orientation: Business-minded lawyer with a pragmatic, solution-driven sensibility and sound judgment.Academic Background: Strong academic credentials.Legal Knowledge: Prior experience and knowledge in international individual and collective employment laws especially German laws would be advantageous (but not a pre-requisite).Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.Language Skills: Fluency in English; German language skills would be a plus.One Last ThingJoin OpenText, the world's leading provider of software-based solutions for enterprise information management, and be part of a global team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
