About the Role As a key member of the HR Services team, you will support the company’s payroll functions in France, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. This remote role focuses on the full payroll lifecycle, interface with external vendors, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with finance and HR. Manage Tier 1 payroll requests: respond to inquiries, execute transactional processes, and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Serve as the primary payroll point of contact for French EMEA associate groups and support other countries as needed. Collect, validate, and input payroll data; coordinate with payroll providers to meet statutory and contractual payment requirements. Coordinate with external payroll vendors for accurate calculations, tax, social security, and other statutory submissions. Update HRIS and communicate hire, leaver, transfer, and promotion changes during monthly payroll activities. Support internal and external audits (including SOX) and maintain internal controls. Communicate with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities. Process supplementary insurance and pension plans. Prepare payroll reports, statistics, certificates, and reconcile accounts with finance for annual statements. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field with a minimum of 2 years payroll experience. Deep knowledge of French labor, tax, and social security regulations; additional country knowledge is a plus. Experience in multicultural, international teams with finance and HR collaboration. Strong confidentiality and communication skills, with a results‑oriented mindset. Proficiency in French and English (additional European languages valued). Knowledge of HRIS (preferably Workday) and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
