Electronic Engineer – Intern Coros Space

Company Overview Founded in 2024 and based in Paris, Coros Space is a new space startup building the next generation of onboard computing systems for spacecraft. Our mission is to bring high-performance and fault‑tolerant data processing capabilities by leveraging advanced COTS technologies.We aim at shaping the future of cloud computing from space. Position description We are looking for an Electronics Intern to support the development of our next‑generation hardware platforms. In this role, you will participate in the full electronics design pipeline, from component selection and schematic capture to PCB layout and prototype bring‑up. You will help develop Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), prepare hardware for radiation test campaigns and contribute to integrating our electronics within drone platforms. This internship offers the opportunity to work directly with our hardware and avionics engineering teams and gain hands‑on experience with board design, testing and validation activities used in advanced aerospace and robotic applications. Required skills Final‑year or gap‑year student in electronics, electrical engineering, embedded hardware, or related field Good understanding of electronic circuit design, schematics, components and power distribution Experience with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, or similar) Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, logic analyzer) Interest in EGSE, hardware testing and qualification workflows Knowledge of radiation effects in electronics is a plus, but not required Comfortable with hands‑on hardware work, prototyping, assembly and troubleshooting Curious, methodical and eager to work on multidisciplinary hardware projects Intern responsibilities Work closely with experienced engineers in avionics, software and hardware Contribute directly to a flight‑representative onboard computing stack Learn how real spacecraft systems are designed, tested and validated Have meaningful impact in a startup environment where your work matters APPLY FOR JOB #J-18808-Ljbffr
