We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You’ll Do:Design, build and maintain the infrastructure we need to support orders of magnitude more customers, while minimizing issues and controlling costInvestigate and fix issues or bottlenecks, whether it’s deep in the platform code or in the client applicationSupport the services and datastores that we own, 24x7Build tooling and automation to run our infrastructure with minimal human interventionWork with developers to design data models and advise on datastores optionsWho You Are:You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or at least 5 years of professional experienceYou have production experience with distributed systems, e.g. Zookeeper, Cassandra, Postgres, FoundationDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDBYou are mastering at least one programming or scripting language, e.g. Go, Java, Rust, C/ C++You want to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customersYou can design simple and performant architecture to solve problems at high scaleBonus Point: You have hands-on engineering experience with at least one of the major cloud providers – AWS, Azure, GCPDatadog values people from all walks of life.
