ABOUT IÉSEG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT IÉSEG School of Management invites applications for adjunct positions to teach the following course in Lille and Paris: Quantitative Methods for Economics and Finance, Bachelor’s level (24h face-to-face, 13 sessions of 1h50, from JANUARY to MAY). The courses are already designed, and material will be provided. IÉSEG holds the “triple crown” of international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA & EQUIS) and is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Écoles”. IÉSEG is one of the leading French business schools in terms of research. The IÉSEG Research Center is accredited by the French CNRS. IÉSEG faculty is highly qualified and diverse with over 45 different nationalities represented. IÉSEG offers Bachelor, Master and Post-Graduate Degrees as well as Executive Education programs. More information about IÉSEG School of Management is available online at: http://www.ieseg.fr/en/ JOB QUALIFICATIONS Applicants should either be PhDs in Finance, Finance PhD student (except those having an ATER contract), or Professional with experience in a higher education setting. They are expected to show evidence of teaching skills and/or strong professional experience. The number of teaching hours offered can be compatible with other professional activities. Applicants should be fluent in English as all courses at IÉSEG are taught in this language. Prior knowledge of French is not required. The demand is for EXTENSIVE (i.e., once/twice a week) teaching on Lille and/or Paris campuses. Applicants need to be able to commute on a regular basis by train or public transport to the designated campus. The applicant’s knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Python is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Teach and evaluate students. This is done under the supervision of a course coordinator. Help design and develop course materials related to assignments, and to exams. Give regular feedback to students following quiz, presentation, or exam. Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their full potential. Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the course curriculum. #J-18808-Ljbffr
