This begins on Day One Come and work for the world’s most Customer Centric Company.Key job responsibilitiesProblem SolvingMaintain high system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently, serving as an escalation point and technical troubleshooter for systems and network hardware problems.Investigate and resolve complex Linux server issues.Troubleshoot XEN service virtualization problems.TechnicalTroubleshoot technical issues across systems, networking, and power/mechanical domains.Remediate physical layer outages in systems and networks, including power-related problems.Participate in data center power and cooling events.OperationsWork rotating shifts to meet 24/7 on-call requirements.Install and configure server racks per internal SLAs.Triage and resolve trouble tickets for all devices in the assigned region.Act as the data center point of contact for high-severity issues.Replace server and network device parts as needed.Ensure correct rotation of spare parts.Contribute to uptime improvement metrics.Enforce Amazon's security best practices.Interact with third-party vendors, contractors, and remote hands/eyes.Project ManagementParticipate in and deliver high-impact small to mid-scale projects.Attend team meetings for metric analysis and project status updates.Contribute to building the world's largest cloud infrastructure.MentoringShare knowledge and educate less technical staff on best practices.About The TeamDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences.
