Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.In 2025, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 350full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.Your missionWe are building the future of 5G connectivity in space. As part of Aerospacelab, you will play a key role in analyzing and contributing to the evolution of 3GPP standards, with a focus on Non-Terrestrial Networks. Your insights will guide our technical roadmap and ensure alignment with global standardization efforts.You are a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with deep expertise in wireless standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy working across disciplines, and are motivated by the opportunity to influence the future of global communications.DutiesAnalyze 3GPP 5G NR specifications, with emphasis on NTN-related features and system behaviorContribute to 3GPP working groups and standardization activities, representing Aerospacelab’s technical interestsTrack and interpret ongoing developments in 3GPP Rel-17+ and beyondProvide internal guidance on standard compliance and implementation strategiesCollaborate with engineering teams to translate standards into clear system and software requirementsSupport the definition of Aerospacelab-specific enhancements aligned with 3GPP evolutionMaintain documentation and internal knowledge base on relevant standards and contributionsMust haveDeep expertise in 3GPP 5G NR standardsPrior experience contributing to 3GPP working groups or similar standardization bodiesStrong understanding of RAN protocol stack architectureExcellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical materialNice to HaveExperience with satellite communications and NTN system designExperience in embedded software development or software architectureExperience in product ownership or product management in a technical domainWhat we offerBuild your own career pathDirect impact on the growth of the companyFast-paced environmentFlexible ways of workingSalary package consistent with your experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
