You've opened the right door As an R&D team, making sure your ideas are heard and encouraged is what we strive to doWhat You'll Do:Create high quality, maintainable code that processes and analyzes over 7 billion events daily (and doubling every year)Utilize one the largest private Hadoop clusters in the world and a bleeding edge suite of technologies that push the limits of modern data processingDesign and perfect data models that isolate signal in the noise of real world data and make difficult challenges possible for fellow engineersBe a part of a team working on high volume, highly available systems, critical to the success of the businessWho You Are:Who You AreBS in Computer Science or a related fieldSoftware engineering experience, ideally in a compiled language (C#, Java, Go, etc.)Rock-solid foundation in Computer Science (data modeling, data structures, algorithms, optimization)Familiarity with ETL and multi-stage data processing systemsExperience developing and extending systems of moderate complexityA passion for shipping quality, high-performance codeA strong sense of ownership and a dislike for passing the buckA problem solver, a fixer, and a creative technologist.
