Space surveillance and Tracking Engineer Join GMV to apply for the Space surveillance and Tracking Engineer role. What challenge will you be taking on? In our team you will be developing state‑of‑the‑art algorithms in the Space Surveillance and Tracking fields for their application within the operational chain. You will be part of the largest team of engineers in Europe dedicated to these fields, working with the most prestigious space agencies. Responsibilities Development of new algorithms in the Space Surveillance and Space Mechanics domain (collision risk assessment, initial orbit determination, cataloguing techniques, orbit determination, manoeuvre planning, attitude characterization, etc.). Implementing those algorithms in software modules (from prototyping to operational development, from design to acceptance). Providing support to our customers. Qualifications Aerospace engineer (or equivalent) with knowledge in the space mechanics domain. Applied mathematics, space debris, statistics, object‑oriented programming.
