ICSS Specialist 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking an experienced ICSS Specialist to support and lead key engineering activities related to Control, Safety, Fire & Gas systems within Oil & Gas projects. This role involves developing and revising technical specifications, contributing to ICSS architecture definitions, managing technical interfaces, and supporting validation and testing phases with vendors and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Elaborate or update technical specifications for DCS/SIS systems. Develop or revise ICSS control and safety architectures. Participate in basic and/or detailed ICSS engineering studies. Ensure follow-up of internal and external interfaces across disciplines, partners, subcontractors and vendors. Contribute to installation validation activities for control, safety, and fire & gas systems (cabinet quantities, typical loop designs, etc.). Prepare functional specifications, including functional analyses, control narratives, Cause & Effect matrices, and logic diagrams. Participate in vendor alignment activities and testing phases such as FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests). Qualifications and Experience Engineering degree with specialization in Control, Automation, Instrumentation, or related fields. Experience in Control & Safety Systems within the Oil & Gas sector, including Offshore/Onshore ICSS know-how and network environments. Knowledge of Control & Safety Systems specific to Oil & Gas. Familiarity with F&G process rules and practices. Experience working across multi-disciplinary engineering interfaces. Understanding of ICSS installation and validation constraints. Knowledge of applicable standards: ISA 5.1/2/3/4/5/6 IEC 61511 / IEC 62443 IEC 61511 certification (TÜV / QUALI-SIL) is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word / Excel / Visio). Ability to provide clear reporting to the Lead Engineer. Strong command of English (written and spoken).
