Your Mission The Senior Software Developer will take an active role in the design and development of Digital Card Services for Entrust Instant Financial Issuance solution. The solutions are built using Java and a modern Web technology stack that employs the latest industry‑required security standards. The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience, and judgment to accomplish goals. Responsibilities Design, test, deploy, debug, and implement Java/Spring Boot software applications and services. Effectively apply Agile (Scrum) methodology to track progress and enforce project standards. Apply secure development life cycle, threat modeling, and web application security practices. Participate in requirements definition, documentation, and code reviews. Contribute to effort estimation by defining task breakdowns, durations, and concurrent effort. Assist in production escalation and problem resolution. Review and unit‑test code from other team members. Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments. Work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrate a process‑oriented mindset and collaborate with team members. Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results. Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline. Minimum 5+ years of experience with JAVA backend development. Minimum 3+ years of experience with Junit code testing. Experience with agile methodologies and related tools. Understanding of business objects, layered design, data access objects, and design patterns. Experience with relational databases and SQL. Minimum 3+ years of experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks. Experience with SaaS development and deployment. Autonomous but real team player. Experience with RESTful API development and integration. Assist in production escalation and problem resolution. Identify opportunities to drive innovation and accelerate product launches. Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience Master’s degree in engineering. Minimum 7+ years of experience with JAVA backend development. Experience in SDLC environment. Experience with SaaS development and deployment. Experience in AWS environment. Experience developing a commercial/external software product. Experience in multi‑threaded and distributed platform.
