In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a HPC software engineer to integrate Pasqal’s quantum technologies into high-performance computing environments by scheduling hybrid quantum-classical jobs with Pasqal QPUs alongside classical resources. In this context, your main missions will be:Connect Pasqal technologies (hardware and software) in our customers HPC infrastructure (e.g. Slurm, Qaptiva)Steer collaboration with partners (e.g. NVIDIA and IBM) to natively integrate Pasqal technologiesCollaborate with the cloud team to integrate cloud QPUs and have converging experiences for the userOptimize hybrid (quantum/classical) jobs running on our internal HPC clusterProvide insights to the hardware team to align application optimization with internal hardware schedulingConduct technology watch on HPC-QC early stage domainThis list is non exhaustiveAbout youHardSkillsExperience in both low-level (e.g. C, Rust) and high-level (e.g. Python) programming languagesKnowledge of Linux operating systemExposure to scientific computing and scheduling systems (e.g. Slurm, MPI, OpenMP, GPU programming)Soft SkillsAutonomy and ownership, it’s a 3-people team with a broad scopeTeam spirit and good communication skillsWhat we offerBeautiful brand new offices in Massy, FranceA flexible rhythm of remote workType of contract : CDIA dynamic and close-knit international teamA key role in a growing start-upFree time to train and go to conferences/meetupsPASQAL is an equal opportunity employer.
