What you’ll do: As a Fixed Assets Senior Accountant at Eutelsat group, you will play a pivotal role in managing the accounting of fixed assets and will work within a strategic scope. Your key responsibilities will include: Monitor and update the fixed assets register for both the company and its subsidiaries. Create fixed assets in SAP 4HANA and ensure accurate tracking of Capex movements, monitor depreciation schedules and manage assets disposals and retirements, including scrapping and sales. Manage capitalized salaries and interest, integrating them efficiently into our financial system. Calculate and book depreciation according to applicable standards (French GAAP / PCG and IFRS). Manage intercompany reconciliations (rebillings transactions). Ensure accurate accounting allocation by analyzing orders on SAP 4HANA. Oversee cash Capex entry and manage impairment adjustments. Monthly closings (depreciation calculation, IFRS 16 ajdustments, reconciliation of asset files with the general ledger). Actively contribute to both internal and external audits by providing necessary information on Capex and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting and tax regulations. Serve as the main point of contact for subsidiaries and internal departments for all intercompany transaction‑related matters, ensuring consistency in accounting practices across the group. Facilitate smooth communication and effective coordination of fixed assets processes within the group. Profile Sought: Fluent in English (both oral and written) is mandatory. Bac+3 to Bac+5 in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Significant experience of minimum 5 years in general accounting. Knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS standards would be a plus. Strong knowledge of SAP 4HANA and knowledge of OneStream would be a plus. Experience in preparing monthly and annual closings. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. The Eutelsat Group treats the protection of personal data submitted to it seriously.
