Type: Direct employment / permanent Work mode & location: Onsite at least 3 days/week in Poissy, France Core Skills Strong skills in C/C++/Java/Python Strong with Audio Frameworks, codecs, DSPs (Qualcomm Hexagon DSP, Audio Weaver), and tuning and debugging tools. Hands‑on experience with IVI platforms (e.g., Android Automotive, QNX Hypervisor, AGL). Integrate third‑party audio middleware (e.g., Dolby, etc.) and compliance with automotive standards. Experience in Audio System Architecture and Design reviews. Strong knowledge on Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers. Debug complex issues in the audio stack spanning from HAL, drivers, middleware, to user‑space applications. Experience with communication interfaces like Ethernet, UART, SPI, USB Experience with CAN, SOMEIP, AVB, or A2B communication protocols is a plus. Knowledge on optimizing audio latency, synchronization, and performance for multi‑zone and multi‑source playback scenarios. Support certification, compliance, and end‑of‑line (EOL) testing processes related to audio. Requirements Strong debugging skills using tools like GDB, strace, logs, and oscilloscopes/analyzers. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with SCM tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, RTC. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC). Knowledge on 3rd‑party SW integration in multi‑party supplier eco‑system. Experience with premium branded audio system integration (e.g., Alpine, Harman etc.). Experience with Voice Assistant Technologies (Alexa, Google, GSA, WuW). Familiarity with ISO 26262 or ASPICE‑compliant development environments. Responsibilities Architect and Design of Automotive Audio Sub‑Systems for IVI and Cluster features, including Media, Telephony, Navigation Prompts, Voice Assistants, and Projection modes (CarPlay, Android Auto). Define and implement end‑to‑end audio signal chains and processing flows for pre/post‑processing modules. Develop and optimise Audio HAL/PAL layers using AIDL, and interface with Android and Vera OS Audio Frameworks. Design and develop low‑level audio drivers for DSPs (Qualcomm Hexagon, AWE), ARM processors, and external audio peripherals. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (System Architects, DSP Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Platform Teams) for feature definition, design, validation, and integration. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related degree field. Minimum 8 years of relevant Software Design and Development life cycle, including a minimum of 8 years in one of the below Software domains (In‑Vehicle‑Infotainment, Audio, Android AOSP, Audio DSP). Strong proficiency in Linux/Android audio stack (Audio HAL, ALSA, Android Audio). Strong experience with Audio Frameworks, codecs, Audio DSP (Qualcomm Hexagon DSP, DSP‑C Audio Weaver, NXP, SigmaDSP). Hands‑on experience with IVI platforms (e.g., Android Automotive, QNX Hypervisor, AGL). Proven experience in integrating third‑party audio/voice application (e.g., Dolby, Voice Assistance etc.). Debug complex issues in the audio stack spanning from HAL, drivers, middleware, to user‑space applications. Experience with communication interfaces and protocols like Ethernet, UART, SPI, USB, CAN, SOMEIP, and A2B. Experience in support certification, compliance, and end‑of‑line (EOL) testing processes in vehicle. Exceptional problem‑solving, communication (oral/written), and accountability skills. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in Automotive OEM or Tier‑1 in In‑Vehicle‑Infotainment Audio. Experience in Architect and Design of Automotive Audio Sub‑Systems for IVI and Cluster features, including Media, Telephony, Navigation Prompts, Voice Assistants, and Projection modes (CarPlay, Android Auto). Experience with SCM tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, RTC. Experience on 3rd‑party SW component integration in multi‑party supplier eco‑system.
