Senior Site Reliability Engineer Join Canonical, a leading provider of open source software and operating systems. Our platform, Ubuntu, powers breakthrough initiatives in public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. We collaborate globally with over 1,200 colleagues in 75+ countries. The role is a globally remote position. Next‑gen operations at scale – our goal is to perfect enterprise infrastructure DevOps using pure Python infra‑as‑code from bare metal to containers and applications. We run hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across physical and public cloud estates. We raise the bar on automation by embracing a universal operator pattern and model‑driven operations. To succeed you must believe in automation as a software engineering problem, focus on metrics and code, and be willing to learn the entire stack – from bare metal networking and kernel up to serverless and open source applications.
