Remote (Occasional Site Visits in Northern California) $110,000 - $140,000 Overview Stelic is seeking a Project Scheduler to support transportation and civil infrastructure projects in Northern California. This role provides Primavera P6 scheduling and project controls support for roadway and heavy civil construction projects, with an emphasis on realistic sequencing, field-validated logic, and clear schedule communication. This position will be 50% dedicated to a Northern California transportation program and the remaining 50% supporting other projects across Stelic’s client portfolio. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to project sites in Northern California for coordination, schedule validation, and stakeholder meetings. Candidates located in the western portion of the United States are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and analyze Primavera P6 schedules for transportation and civil infrastructure projects. Build and manage work breakdown structures (WBS), activity coding, calendars, and logic ties aligned with civil construction and traffic control sequencing. Coordinate schedule development and updates with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and construction teams. Validate construction progress, percent complete, and remaining durations through coordination with field staff and client stakeholders. Prepare weekly and monthly schedule updates, narratives, and variance analyses, clearly communicating schedule status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Support baseline development, schedule change analysis, and time impact assessments as required by contract or client request. Identify and communicate critical path activities, near-critical work, and schedule risk drivers. Support scenario modeling and “what-if” analysis related to phasing changes, traffic control impacts, or construction sequencing constraints. Ensure schedules align with traffic control plans, permitting constraints, utility coordination, and environmental requirements. Maintain complete and auditable schedule documentation in accordance with project controls best practices. Provide support across multiple projects as part of Stelic’s broader infrastructure portfolio. Requirements 4+ years of professional scheduling experience on civil or infrastructure construction projects. Demonstrated experience supporting transportation, roadway, or heavy civil projects. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6. Experience working on public-sector or large infrastructure projects preferred. Understanding of civil construction sequencing, traffic control constraints, and field-driven scheduling logic. Ability to work independently across multiple projects. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain schedule logic, risks, and impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
