Apply now and do your part in bringing extraordinary music experiences to people’s livesJob DescriptionWe are looking for a QA analyst intern to join the team Partnerships Integration, dedicated to the integration of partners inside or with Deezer ecosystem: distribution partners like telecommunication operators or hardware manufacturers (Amazon, Google, Sonos…). Our aim is to expand Deezer experience outside the company.As an intern, you’ll work closely with our QA Partnerships team, to plan and conduct various testing tasks: manual, automated, exploratory testing. You will also contribute by writing and maintaining automated tests scripts in Java for our mobile and web projects, or Javascript skills for our API tests. You’ll participate on a daily basis to our Agile rituals (team meetings, development meeting processes).This is a 6 month internship starting as soon as possible.What you will doAssist in planning and executing manual tests, including UI, API, and exploratory testsWork on the clean up of our automated tests projectsPerform weekly tests on the mobile release candidatesHelp write and maintain test cases and related documentation for ongoing projectsTrack and update the bug backlog, writing clear and detailed bug reportsAnalyze and report the results of automated testsSupport the development and maintenance of automated tests using Appium, Selenium and PostmanCollaborate with product and tech teams to understand project goals and challengesParticipate in team meetings to discuss project progress and testing strategiesContinuously learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assuranceQualificationsThis role is excellent for a person with:Basic knowledge of the Java programming language, programming logic and principlesUnderstanding of common software testing types, methodologies, and techniquesFamiliarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and tools like Jira and GitHubAbility to collaborate effectively with team members within QA and across other departmentsGood oral and written communication skills in English and FrenchStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environmentWould be a plusFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and teamworkAt Deezer, diversity drives innovation.
