Platform Integration Engineer - HW/SW co-integration 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Sequans Communications is a 4G/5G chipmaker, supplying LTE/5G to OEMs and ODMs worldwide. We are currently looking for a Platform Integration Hardware Validation engineer. The position is based in Paris as part of the Platform Integration Baseband team that is in charge of: Integrating and validating the different pieces of hardware and low level software Qualifying the platform as a whole RESPONSIBILITIES Elaborating validation strategies of ASIC baseband hardware blocks in close collaboration with all teams involved: ASIC, HW Designn, Algorithm, Layer 1, Software, third‑party providers etc… Developing and maintaining drivers and test applications Solving identified issues with development teams (bugs or architecture modifications). Giving outstanding support to all R&D teams Implementing bare‑metal code for boot and hardware test REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Engineering degree with at least 10 years of experience Strong experience with embedded systems (good knowledge of hardware and embedded software development) Experience in porting/integrating RTOS to architecture and driver development. (e.g. Zephir, eCOS…) Good knowledge on various architectures (andes, risc, mipps, arm, other) Expert on embedded bare‑metal C/C++/ASM developpement Good experience of Platform prototyping and debug (FPGA, Palladium, JTAG) Experience in low/high speed interfaces (UART, I2S, SPI, USB, ETH …) Experience in software implementation for low power mode is a plus Some knowledge of PHY layer of a Telecom Standard like 5G or LTE is a plus PROFILE Highly motivated, self-starter, autonomous Team oriented, with ability to work well in multicultural environment Ability to work closely with other teams Excellent written and oral communications skills Fast learning capabilities BENEFITS Corporate canteen (reimbursement 50%) Free gym club in the office 1 day or remote work per week Full private medical insurance (Mutuelle) Regular team building events Free shares Performance‑based bonuses Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering, Research, and Manufacturing Industries Semiconductor Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
