All Job Posting Locations: Issy-les-Moulineaux, France Job Title Senior Finance Analyst Business Partners Job Function Finance Job Sub Function Finance Business Partners Job Category Professional Job Description As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will provide finance and business leadership to the Innovative Medicine teams. You will play a key role in supporting, challenging, and driving sales projections and investment decisions. You will engender financial acumen and budgetary ownership to improve financial literacy and forecast accuracy, building trust by delivering compliant financial statements and managing risk. Within the Finance team, you will drive sales consolidation, lead the team to ensure compliant, accurate and timely recording of all actuals and forecast updates, and be the primary contact for updating the local reporting dashboard (PowerBI). You will execute tasks in line with the J&J financial calendar, coordinate with Global Services and other finance teams during closing activities, and evolve your role as needed. You will report to the Business Finance Controller. Main Responsibilities Lead and provide Finance Business Leadership for specified Therapeutic Areas (Sales, OPEX, Contribution). Planning and Forecasting Collaborate with the business to build robust and accurate financial forecasts and ensure timely and complete reporting according to the J&J planning calendar. Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of risks and opportunities in brand performance, providing insightful analysis and commentary to actual business results and turning these insights into foresights for future results. Independently provide financial projections for each quarterly Latest Thinking projection. Ensure Financial Compliance Ensure compliant revenue recognition for managed entry agreements and proactively engage with the business on these topics ahead of market access. Ensure all business partners have appropriate finance knowledge to enable accurate, timely, complete, and appropriate initiation of financial transactions such as accruals, prepayments, and purchase order goods receipts, and keep them informed of key finance deadlines. Skills / Experience / Qualifications Analytical and strong technical accountancy expertise. Strategic thinking with commercial focus. High intellectual curiosity and ability to drive outcomes. Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust amongst business leaders and finance colleagues. Demonstrated ability to influence business partners with fact-based data. High-level perspective and eye for detail. Team player across levels, functions, and reporting lines. Ability to lead teams in a matrix environment. Experience and Other Requirements Master’s degree level education, Accounting/Financial qualification and/or internationally equivalent. Fluent in English and strong level of French. Project management skills. MS Excel proficiency, and experience with SAP ERP and PowerBI. Pharmaceutical experience desirable. Hybrid position (2 days per week at Issy Les Moulineaux office).
