This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.This is a contingent position based upon contract awardResponsibilitiesExpertise and experience in developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing and predicting future events, then transitioning algorithms into AI models and systems, and then testing, verifying, validating, and maintaining them.AI/ML engineers use large data sets to research, develop, and generate algorithms that can learn, assess, analyze, organize data, execute tests, and optimize the learning process to help develop high-performance ML models.Other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI with current CI polygraphHave at least 5 years of AI/ML expertise and experience in developing intelligent algorithms capable of learning, analyzing and predicting future events, turning those algorithms into AI models and systems, and then testing and maintaining them.Ability to demonstrate use of large data sets to research, develop and generate algorithms that can learn and assess, analyze, and organize data, execute tests, and optimize the learning process to help develop high performance ML models.Bachelor's degree in engineering or related quantitative science fieldDesired QualificationsMaster's degree in engineering or related quantitative science fieldExperience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programsExperience with cloud development processesExperience with industry system engineering practicesStrong interpersonal skills to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership.Security Requirements: Must have an active TS-SCI with a current PolygraphBelong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
