Operations & Finance Analyst

Within the Chanel Corporate G lobal Digital Platform and Services , a team at the genesis of the Chanel.com, you will be part of a strong and dynamic Team in charge of digital assets successfully delivered internationally in over 50 markets. Within the Strategy & Governance team you will report directly to the Head of Strategy & Governance. Your mission as Operations & Finance will be: “Safeguarding the G lobal Digital team's financial integrity and regulatory compliance through diligent oversight, robust risk management, and transparent reporting practices” . You will be will play an active rol e in key oversight activities encompassing Financial Monitoring , Conformity , Reporting , and Financial Controlling and Analysis . This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations are running with efficiency, adhering to regulations, and aligning with Corporate Global Digital and House strategic objectives . As the Operations & Finance Ana lyst , you will leverage your keen analytical skills and familiarity with project management to ensure the optimal execution and alignment of our initiatives with business financial goals and compliance requirements. Your exceptional ability to communicate and interpret complex information will be integral to this role. Your main missions will be focused on: Co-build, develop and manage budgets for all project segments. Conduct regular financial reviews, make necessary adjustments and ease the coordination of arbitration of financial decisions as needed. Oversee and track activities , budget adherence, and various other metrics to ensure smooth operations and attainment of objectives . Ensure legal and regulatory compliance of services, in coordination with relevant stakeholders (Legal, procurement Finance) Stay updated with evolving industry regulations and standards and ensure all PMO activities adhere to these. Regularly generate, maintain , and improve reports that accurately reflect our project financial statuses and performances . Utilize appropriate reporting tools to deliver insights to various stakeholders. Prepare detailed analysis and special reports on demand. Monitor and analyze project financial quality and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Skills requirements : Brand Understanding: Ability to comprehend and operate the essence of our CHANEL’s brand - its mission, vision, legacy, and values - and align strategies and actions accordingly. This includes an understanding of the brand's history, its positioning in the market, and its unique selling proposition. Monitoring & Conformity: In direct line with Regulation services, you are strict on the application of industry regulations, project management, and conformity principles. You can keep track of multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring they adhere to internal standards and external regulations. Reporting & Analysis: You have excellent reporting and data analysis skills, allowing you to interpret complex data and communicate it effectively. Proficiency with reporting tools and software is a must. Budgeting and Financial Management: You master financial management principles (OPEX, CAPEX, depreciations, etc ) , allowing you to monitor and manage budgets effectively. Y ou already participated to the management of a budget (>10 M$) and performed thorough analysis , ideally tailored to digital and IT services. Project Management: You have a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, and the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Ability to convey information effectively to various stakeholders, from team members to top executives.
