Senior Functional QA Engineer

Senior Functional QA Engineer Apply for the Senior Functional QA Engineer role at Alithya. As a Senior Functional QA Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of ten people, including testers, developers, a project manager and a QA manager. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of the solutions delivered. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the quality charter defined by our client; Ensure the dissemination and adoption of QA best practices within teams; Participate in the review and validation of functional specifications; Write test specifications in accordance with management standards; Execute manual testing campaigns; Design automated non-regression tests; Manage the reporting, tracking and qualification of anomalies; Provide tracking indicators to the project manager; Provide methodological and functional support to analysts; Work closely with development teams; Report progress to management; Technical Environment Test management: Squash TM; Automation: Katalon; Ticketing: Redmine and/or Jira. Keys to your success Proficiency in key tools: Squash TM for test management, Redmine/Jira for tracking; Strong skills in functional testing, test plan writing and manual campaign execution; Knowledge of V-cycle and Agile methodologies; Rigorous, methodical and organized to ensure the reliability of deliverables and the tracking of anomalies; Curious and eager to contribute not only to execution, but also to the continuous improvement of quality practices; Excellent communication skills to work with a variety of people: QA Manager, developers, project manager, etc. Extra edge ISTQB certification; Katalon skills for automation.
