Join us, and let’s shape the future of quantum computing together As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, your mission is to assist the engineering team in various tasks related to the design, development, and production of mechanical components. You will gain hands‑on experience by supporting design activities, helping to create manufacturing drawings, and learning about key manufacturing processes. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will contribute to solving technical challenges, improve your skills in mechanical design, and learn about material and processes linked to operations in cryogenic environments (near 0 Kelvin) and RF / superconducting systems. Your projects will be supervised by the Senior Mechanical Engineer. Responsibilities Mechanical design and sizing Creation of 2D drawings and files for manufacturing Supplier coordination from pre‑project through final acceptance Overseeing parts acceptance, assembly, and manufacturing processes Final equipment tests & qualification Drafting of assembly and operational diagrams Supporting testing activities Requirements Mechanical engineering student, for a 6‑month internship. Strong understanding of general mechanics, production, and thermal engineering Familiarity with material properties and characterization methods Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, 2D ISO dimensioning. SolidWorks PDM is a plus.
