Payroll Partner (France - Remote) Company: Veralto Location: France, Remote Position: HR Services – Payroll Partner Overview As the Payroll Partner, you will be a key member of the wider HR team, responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting associate and business needs. This role focuses on France with support for EMEA Associates and other countries as needed. Responsibilities Manage assigned caseload for Tier 1 payroll requests, exceeding SLAs and quality standards. Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups, primarily France. Handle full payroll cycle: collect, validate, input data, ensure timely salary payments in compliance with statutory requirements. Coordinate with external payroll vendors for accurate calculations and timely submissions of social security contributions, taxes, etc. Interact with HR and finance for monthly payroll activities, updating HRIS with hire, leaver, transfer, promotion, and organizational changes. Support internal and external audits (SOX compliance), maintain internal controls. Correspond with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities. Process supplementary insurance and pension plans. Prepare payroll reports, certificates, and forms; reconcile and clarify accounts with financial accounting department; prepare annual financial statements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field and minimum of 2 years payroll experience. Deep knowledge of local labor, tax, and social security regulations in France; additional country‑specific knowledge welcomed. Experience working within multicultural, international teams, collaborating with Finance and HR business partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information; strong collaboration skills (communication, tone, messaging, execution, planning, ownership). Problem‑solving and results‑oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities. Proficiency in French and English; other European languages welcomed. Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday; proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
