Join Schneider Electric Design team What will be your role? We are fast growing and we want to do so healthily. Our mission is to strengthen user-centered design at scale and ensure research plays a core role in shaping meaningful Schneider Electric experiences, by enabling teams to practice and communicate decisions informed by research, data, and field insights to solve the right problems and deliver impact. You will be part of the transversal Design team and report to the Design Ops Manager. We are looking for a Lead Researcher with strong Research Operations expertise to elevate research practices, impact, and adoption across product teams. Your role combines hands‑on research leadership, Research Ops ownership, and program-level execution. You will drive a research ops roadmap, lead transversal initiatives, and embed research as a strategic, insight‑driven, and AI‑augmented discipline, with full accountability for outcomes. Lead research impact Lead high‑impact qualitative and quantitative research to inform design and product decisions. Act as a senior research partner to design, product, and business stakeholders. Increase the consistency, visibility, and business impact of research across teams, helping teams ground and communicate decisions in research, data, and field insights. Mentor and support researchers and designers on transversal initiatives. Act as an internal ambassador for user research, driving acculturation and evidence‑based decision‑making. Own and scale Research Operations Define and own the Research Ops strategy, standards, and operating model. Create and manage a global research repository, ensuring insights are structured, reusable, and actionable. Define and maintain research guidelines, templates, and playbooks. Own the research tooling ecosystem (user sourcing, moderated and unmoderated testing, surveys). Align product and design teams on shared research processes and practices. Program management & change Define and drive a Research Ops roadmap aligned with design and product priorities. Lead cross‑functional research programs end‑to‑end, from framing and prioritization to delivery. Set clear objectives and success criteria to track adoption and impact. Drive change through communities of practice, rituals, and shared ways of working, taking initiative to move topics forward autonomously. AI‑enabled research practices Lead the structuring and adoption of AI‑assisted research practices across the research lifecycle. Operationalize AI‑enabled approaches to accelerate synthesis, analysis, and insight generation. Define guardrails and best practices for responsible and scalable AI usage. Enable researchers to use AI as an augmentation lever, improving speed and depth without compromising rigor. This job has been tailored for you if you Have 8+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong, proven background in Research Operations. You are comfortable working with research and product data (e.g. survey results, usage data, metrics) and combining qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions. Have led successful, transversal Research Ops initiatives, not isolated projects. Have hands‑on experience applying AI‑assisted practices in research and a strong drive to push this further. Are fully autonomous in defining priorities, building roadmaps, and driving initiatives end‑to‑end. Are comfortable using OKRs or similar frameworks to structure work and demonstrate impact. Have deep experience with research repositories and research tools (sourcing, testing, surveys). Can lead and influence researchers without direct line management. Have experience driving change management initiatives. Communicate clearly and synthesize complex topics effectively. You are fluent in English and French and can communicate effectively in an international environment. Even better if You have experience partnering with analytics or data teams, or working with dashboards and data sources to enrich research insights and demonstrate impact. You have experience navigating large, complex organizations with strong IT and compliance constraints. You have worked across B2B and B2C contexts. Looking to make an IMPACT with your career?
