Senior Python Developer (Tech Lead) – Salve.Lab Location: Remote in EU | B2B Contract Role Overview The Python Developer (Tech Lead) focuses on overseeing internal services and leading the technical roadmap. It requires strong ownership, the ability to guide architectural decisions, and hands‑on leadership across backend services, automation, APIs, and ML/AI‑related components. The role collaborates closely with DevOps and takes full lifecycle responsibility for Python services, from design to deployment and ongoing reliability. Key Responsibilities Define the technical roadmap and architectural direction for Python services Lead development using Python + Django (main framework) Build and maintain APIs, automation, data pipelines, and backend components Own services end‑to‑end: development, testing, deployments, monitoring Collaborate closely with DevOps on scalable cloud‑native deployments Ensure automation and CI/CD best practices Support ML/AI‑related integrations when required Contribute to continuous improvement, planning, and backlog refinement Mentor engineers, lead technical decisions, and support multiple projects simultaneously Requirements 10+ years of experience in Python engineering Proven experience owning or leading services end‑to‑end Strong expertise with Django and microservice architectures Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Solid CI/CD and automation experience Strong cloud‑native mindset and familiarity with distributed systems Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical teams High level of independence and readiness to take ownership Nice to have Experience with Java or Go RDBMS and SQL expertise DevOps or cloud experience Knowledge of AI/ML workflows or speech‑related technologies What's on Offer Work on cutting‑edge AI systems used globally Dynamic, multi‑disciplinary teams engaged in digital transformation Remote‑first work model Long‑term B2B contract 20+ days paid time off Apple gear Training & development budget Diversity and Inclusion Commitment We are dedicated to creating and sustaining an inclusive, respectful workplace for all—regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background.
