About the Team Roundtable was founded by an experienced team led by Evan (CEO), Julien (CPO), and Simon (CTO). We are a team of 10 employees. About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our tech team. As our team scales, you’ll wear many hats. Your responsibilities include: Collaborating on product strategy and assessing effort for features. Supporting decision‑making for sustained company growth. Developing, deploying and maintaining new features. Conducting code reviews and facilitating knowledge sharing. Technical Environment Security: Protection of highly sensitive financial data. Accuracy: Computations exact to the cent. Code Quality: Tech stack robust enough for regulatory audits. Scalability: Data and IT architecture scalable across regions. Tech Stack Type Safety: 100% TypeScript (frontend, backend, shared). Quality Assurance: Vitest, Playwright, Biome, Zod. Architecture: pnpm workspace monorepo, Turborepo, Domain‑Driven Design. Application Layer: Frontend – Next.js, Tailwind. Backend – Express & GraphQL Yoga. Database – PostgreSQL. Job Queue – BullMQ with Redis. API Layer – GraphQL via Apollo Client, REST via Zod schemas. Cloud – Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Run, GCS, container‑based deployments. Observability – OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Sentry. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a software engineer on full‑stack web apps. Interest in angel investment and venture capital. Entrepreneurial mindset – thrive in fast‑paced, broad‑responsibility environments. Ownership mentality – proactive, no task too small. Strong organization & prioritization skills. Team player – sharing and collaborative learning. Initiative & innovation – challenge and suggest improvements. Product focus – understand user needs and deliver excellent UX.
