OverviewAssociate Recruiting & Legal Talent Coordinator (H/F) at Latham & Watkins. Location: Paris office. Hybrid/in-office presence may be available.ResponsibilitiesSupporting development initiatives aimed at associate morale and retention, including coordinating orientation, training, and integration for new hires and lateral associates, overseeing inter-office transfers and directing joiner/leaver processesStrategising, planning, and executing attorney-related programming, setting objectives with management, negotiating with vendors, managing budgets, processing expenses, and organising internal events to align with firm goalsFacilitating all phases of recruiting efforts, including campus outreach and entry-level hiring; coordinating candidate interviews, preparing offer letters, handling correspondence, maintaining candidate records, and cultivating relationships with target law schools, career services, student organisations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals; representing the firm at recruiting eventsProviding administrative support to the Recruiting Committee, assisting in managing long-term hiring goals, preparing recruitment statistics and reports, and developing presentations for internal and external audiences; collaborating with teams to identify and implement new marketing and promotional strategiesPromoting effective work practices and teamwork, respecting co-workersQualificationsExhibit well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels and work with a first-class customer-service focusAbility to handle confidential information with discretion; strong analytical skills; attention to detailOrganisational skills to manage time, prioritise tasks, handle multiple deadlines; proficiency in MS Office, applicant tracking systems, and interview platformsExperienceExperience in legal talent/attorney recruiting, preferably in a law firm or professional servicesExcellent written and verbal communication in French and EnglishA bachelor’s degree or equivalentBenefits & InformationSuccessful candidates receive a competitive compensation package with bonuses, plus Latham’s comprehensive benefits program including:Lunch vouchersHealth insurance, group income protection and life assuranceProfit sharing planPension planWellness programsEmployee discountsOther benefitsAdditional informationLatham & Watkins is an equal opportunity employer.
