Join us to shape the future of technology togetherRole SummaryWe are seeking a Computer Scientist with a strong engineering background to build the data foundation for our Software Portfolio Efficiency Initiative. This role focuses on extracting, structuring, and analyzing quantitative data from code repositories (GitLab, GitHub), artifact management systems, and observability platforms (Grafana, DataDog). You will implement logic to programmatically determine relationships and enforce metadata standards across 90+ products and 50+ platform services.Role RequirementsTo thrive in this role, you should have:Solid experience with Version Control Systems (GitLab, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelinesDeep understanding of algorithms, data structures and graph theory (especially as applied to reverse engineering and static analysis)Experience mining large codebases (on-premise & AWS Cloud) and integrating with systems like Artifactory, Prometheus, SplunkFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts, Graph RAG, and vector databasesProven ability to create robust documentation (architecture diagrams, data flows, runbooks)An exploratory mindset capable of defining technical solutions for data retrieval and analysis without explicit step-by-step instructionsCore ResponsibilitiesAs part of our team, you will:Mine code repositories to construct data-driven software metricsUse Abstract Syntax Trees (AST) to represent and analyze source code structureIdentify deep dependencies and usage patterns of platform libraries and servicesImplement validation logic within DevHub (Backstage)Design and mandate automation-critical metadataEnforce Canonical Internal Automation IDs across the ecosystemArchitect and implement graph database solutionsApply Gen AI / RAG techniques where applicableMap “Known Unknowns” and complex dependency chains (Edge, AWS Cloud, Foundation services)Map quantitative metrics to confirmed systemsVisualize real-time adoption and performance of reusable assetsDevelop algorithms to calculate metrics based on defined acceptance criteriaProduce comprehensive technical documentationPrepare materials for seamless maintenance by permanent teamsPerks and benefitsEnjoy Udemy for Business, private medical care, Multisport card, veterinary package, language lessons, and shopping vouchers.Access opportunities for professional development and learning, including perks related to our official partnerships with global IT giants: Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce & more.Work with a diverse, international team.Innovative environment: Be part of a forward-thinking and growth-oriented workplace.Engaging community: Work with passionate professionals and participate in team-building events, hackathons, and CSR initiatives to make an impact beyond work.Team-building events: Including our company tradition — annual company event in Mazury.Welcome pack: A pleasant surprise to start your journey with us #J-18808-Ljbffr
