Security Software Engineer – Tech Foundations Join Alan to help protect sensitive health data and strengthen our security posture across the engineering organization. Alan’s mission is to make prevention the new norm of care for all, and the Tech Foundations team provides the infrastructure, tooling and security foundation that powers our products. Responsibilities Enable product teams with secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Implement and maintain authentication, encryption and threat‑protection mechanisms. Support secure development practices, including code reviews, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing. Monitor, detect and respond to security incidents using platform tools. Collaborate on AI‑assisted engineering tools to embed security best practices into development workflows. Drive continuous improvement of our security stack and processes. Qualifications Strong background in application and infrastructure security; hands‑on experience with application security testing and penetration testing. Experience protecting organizations from cyber threats and managing incident‑response platforms. Knowledge of cloud security and modern web application security. Proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming (Python, Java, C#) and enthusiasm for modern JavaScript. Passion for building secure products, self‑starting, collaborative and eager to learn.
