Remote JobJob DescriptionThis is a remote position.OpenLoop is seeking a Sleep Specialist to review, diagnose, and establish treatment plans for our patients based on their at-home sleep study results. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient first. We hire clinical care professionals who deliver medical care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email).Providers are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. The scope of medical decision-making focuses on common conditions that would present within an episodic, acute, or primary care medical practice.As a provider on our team, you will be responsible for performing telemedicine consults from a HIPAA-compliant video interface. We are looking for well-spoken professionals who are comfortable with telemedicine. Providers must have comprehensive knowledge of the endocrine system and pharmacology with a core value to provide quality patient care.RequirementsActive board certification in Sleep Medicine or PulmonologyThree years of relevant clinical experience in Sleep Medicine is requiredActive physician licenses in Oregon or South Dakota (additional licenses a plus)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work as a member of a multidisciplinary teamResponsibilities:Review STOP-Bang result to validate at-home sleep study orderReview at-home sleep study result to diagnose clinical conditionsCreate a prescription and letter of medical necessity for CPAP as neededReview AI-based mask fitting result to recommend appropriate mask if CPAP is recommendedCreate a referral to Dental Sleep Treatment as neededInterface with patient in telemedicine/phone for initial and follow-up sleep study reviewAbide by established clinical protocolsThis is a 1099 contract positionPer consult compensation model (asynchronous only) #J-18808-Ljbffr
