Senior Distribution Planner (temporary contract)Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Being part of LOEWE gives you the opportunity of learning new things every day and working with people passionate about what they do, in a fast moving and ambitious company.If you are passionate about luxury and distribution, this represents a great opportunity to join Loewe Supply Chain team in our Paris offices to cover maternity leave within the RTW/Shoes category starting in December.The main mission of the Senior Distribution Planner is to ensure continuity of operations, cross-functional alignment, and performance delivery during maternity leave, while safeguarding key ongoing projects and managing the existing team structure.Your role will be:In close collaboration with Merchandising, guarantee effective and timely collection launches in store and constantly monitor product availability both in central and in marketManage daily distribution of seasonal and carry over products, securing allocation priorities based on the latest market needs, and including fair share replenishment in case of shortageEnsure rightsized stock coverage at central and in the regions, monitor worldwide stock levels and propose adjustments, including rebalancing between stores/countries/regionsDefine the best shipping flows and frequencies to improve region/store service level, and support the optimization of shipping and transportation total lead timesAnticipate variations of retail demand (store openings, sales peaks, warehouse closures, etc.)Support ad hoc shipping requests to support press, shootings, etc.Provide visibility to central and regional counterparts of central product availabilities, incoming shipments and future product allocationsPrepare and contribute to monthly S&OP meetings with updated KPI monitoring and follow-up on corrective actions.Safeguard progress on ongoing projects.Lead and coordinate with cross-functional partners (Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain HQ & Regional teams, Logistics).What is important for the role:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in distribution planning or inventory management, ideally in the fashion industryStrong understanding of replenishment models, allocation principles, and assortment strategiesProficiency in key inventory management KPIs: Target Stock, Coverage, Sell-Through, Fair ShareAdvanced analytical skills and attention to detail with high accuracy in executionExcellent Excel proficiency; Power BI and distribution tools knowledge a strong plusProactive mindset with solid interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to manage and develop a small teamAbility to work effectively in a cross-cultural, cross-functional environmentFluency in English is requiredAbout us:Created in Spain in 1846, LOEWE approaches over 180 years as one of the world’s major luxury houses.
