Senior Officer, Programs - Health Systems Senior Officer, Programs - Health Systems plays a vital role in supporting partnership development across multiple channels by providing administrative, writing, editing, and coordination support. As a core member of the Health Systems & Applications unit, this position collaborates with cross‑functional teams and external partners to identify, cultivate, and establish key grant partnerships. In addition to supporting resource development, the Senior Officer contributes to the work of the Project Management Office by assisting with project coordination, editing and preparing proposals and reports, managing communications with partners and prospects, and developing presentations and other materials that showcase International Medical Corps’ technical expertise. This role also supports the PIMS leadership in preparing for external institutional engagement. Serving as a bridge between project administration and management, the Senior Officer ensures operational alignment by tracking timelines and deliverables, supporting reporting requirements, and facilitating stakeholder engagement. While not responsible for independently managing projects, the role provides essential support across project planning, execution, and reporting in close coordination with project managers and technical leads. This position will be based at one of International Medical Corps’ headquarters locations and will travel as required. Main Tasks And Responsibilities Assist with the development of project workplans, timelines, and deliverables, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment. Monitor progress against project plans, maintain project tracking tools, and flag delays or risks to the project management and team leads. Coordinate logistical and administrative needs for project activities, such as scheduling, communications, documentation, and follow‑ups. Prepare and consolidate status updates and reports for internal use and/or donor requirements, collaborating across field and corporate teams as necessary. Draft and format components of project reports, proposals, or presentations in collaboration with technical leads and project stakeholders. Serve as a key point of contact for cross‑functional coordination, ensuring consistent communication and documentation flow. Support project budget tracking, including purchase requests, invoice follow‑up, and working with finance for reconciliation. Help facilitate project meetings, including drafting agendas, preparing materials, and documenting action items. Support the application of project management tools and templates to ensure standardization and compliance with internal procedures. Maintain updated records of project documentation, including contracts, deliverables, correspondence, and meeting notes. Work closely with country and/or corporate offices and implementation teams to collect and verify inputs for reports, proposals, and project updates. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, International Development, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. Typically, 5+ years of experience supporting project implementation in a nonprofit, humanitarian, or development context, including direct coordination responsibilities. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Solid understanding of the project life cycle and familiarity with project management methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage cross‑functional teams. Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana). Ability to synthesize information, prepare clear documentation, and support compliance with donor requirements. Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset. SALARY RANGE: mid $60,000 to low $70,000 per year For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is as stated above. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
