Purchasing Controller – Raw & Indirects Spends M/F The Bel Group is a major player in the food industry through portions of dairy, fruit and plant‑based products, and one of the world leaders in branded cheeses. Location: Suresnes, Île‑de‑France, FranceContract: CDI (full‑time)Reference: 52978 Description / Mission As a true business partner, you support the purchasing management in steering its activities. At the same time, you have a high impact role on the financial planning of the company due to the size and the price volatility of the purchasing categories under your controlling responsibility. You are also responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and processes. Responsibilities Regular reporting on purchasing price developments (monthly actuals, and annual forecasts). In‑depth variance analysis versus Budget / Previous Year / Reforecast. Performance optimisation project tracking (productivity). Provide support on specific ad‑hoc analysis for the management. Active participation in the optimisation of digital tools and processes (SAP, BPC, Google Cloud, with big projects coming). Stakeholder management: strong interaction with central buyers and subsidiaries for forecast building and productivity tracking. Important interactions also with Corporate and Geographies Controlling to support the piloting of the company’s financial equation. Overall, you are responsible to provide reliable and accurate information and make relevant recommendations. Qualifications Required diploma and level of professional experience: BAC+5, from 2–3 years of experience. Strong spirit of analysis and synthesis Rigor, organisation and reliability Proactive Appetite for continuous improvement Good understanding of the purchasing function Fluent English Knowledge of reporting tools Mastery of office automation tools (Excel) and SAP accounting and production software Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Purchasing and Supply Chain Industries Food and Beverage Manufacturing Bel is committed to developing its talents.
